A happenstance performance lasting 3 to 30 second when something occurs after a switch is flipped. The performance was chosen in last year's Open Call Project and has appeared again because it was received so well. This instantaneous performance that begins by flipping a switch located in a variety of places such as stores and facilities throughout Roppongi can be enjoyed by young and old alike.

Switch Research Institute
Switch Research Institute was founded in 2015 by Yubie Mitsuse(Nippon-no-kasen), Masahiro Ooishi(Mamagoto｜Nylon100℃) and Masayuki Yamamoto(Seinendan). The organization is based in Tokyo, Japan. The performers in the organization play a very short performance, finishes within only 3 ~ 30 seconds. The performance is called “Switch,” because it starts when someone push the switch. "Switch" is played at various festivals in Japan. And it develops a play for “Switch” related to the place, located the switch, and play “Switch” for the people to push the switch. The motto of the company is “Playing a childish thing in the way of adult”.
