Daysy Balloon
This creative unit was formed in 2008 by a balloon artist Rie Hosokai with graphic designer and art director Takashi Kawada. Exploring ideas of perception and quality, they have created clothing used in advertising for Laforet Harajuku and others, as well as wardrobes for displays at such department stores as Osaka Takashimaya, and costumes for Björk’s live performances. The group is recognized internationally for their audacious and unique perspective that challenges our understanding of balloons.
